Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much coding experience do I need to bring Ardusat into my classroom?
    • None! Our Experiment Hub contains everything you need to run our experiments. If you can copy and paste, you can run Ardusat experiments.
  • Do the DemoSat units get sent into space?
    • The DemoSat is built in the exact dimensions of real satellites we use to gather data from space. While your individual satellites won’t be sent into space, you can use the real space data in your experiments.
  • Does the kit come with everything I need to get started?
    • Our goal is to make STEM education easy on teachers, so we include everything you need to get started in our kits.
  • How long do the kits last?
    • In our experience, our kits haven’t had any major problems with durability. So far, they’ve lasted three years and counting.
    • If you’d ever like to expand your kits, our platform uses open-source parts so you can easily add to them as needed. This makes Ardusat a great value for schools, districts, teachers and parents!
