Why Do Teachers and Students Love Ardusat?
Ardusat is an education experience that combines Arduino-based hardware, sensors and the Experiment Hub (eHub) to deliver incredible learning experiences.
With Ardusat, hands-on learning in the classroom is easy. Our eHub guides educators through each step of the learning experience. Plus, Ardusat makes incorporating new teaching guidelines (such as coding literacy) simple thanks to our clear lesson plans – no coding knowledge required!

How It Works
Ardusat’s open-source hardware, eHub, and standards-based learning resources make STEM education easy and fun!
1. Pick Your Hardware
From the Classroom Starter Pack to a single Ardusat Sensor Kit, our affordable kits have all the hardware you need to get started. Plus, since Ardusat uses open-source hardware, our kits grow with your student.
2. Find a Learning Experience
Our exclusive eHub platform has dozens (hundreds?) of ready-to-go experiments. Connect your experiment to our platform to gather real-world data. No coding experience? No problem – we include everything you need, including code.
3. Run Your Experiment
Our standards-aligned experiments help students learn STEM through gathering real-world data. Connect your Ardusat hardware to eHub and stream data from even more sources (like satellites).
4. Analyze & Share
Students view the results of experiments in eHub and use our powerful tools to analyze and understand the data. They can share their findings with the other students around the globe
What Educators Say
“I love the easy-to-use, interactive labs! Our high-altitude balloon experiment showed my class how to investigate changes in temperature vs. altitude from 90,000 feet over Colorado Springs, Colorado. I’ve never seen my students so engaged!”

Frequently Asked Questions
- How much coding experience do I need to bring Ardusat into my classroom?
- None! Our Experiment Hub contains everything you need to run our experiments. If you can copy and paste, you can run Ardusat experiments.
- Do the DemoSat units get sent into space?
- The DemoSat is built in the exact dimensions of real satellites we use to gather data from space. While your individual satellites won’t be sent into space, you can use the real space data in your experiments.
- Does the kit come with everything I need to get started?
- Our goal is to make STEM education easy on teachers, so we include everything you need to get started in our kits.
- How long do the kits last?
- In our experience, our kits haven’t had any major problems with durability. So far, they’ve lasted three years and counting.
- If you’d ever like to expand your kits, our platform uses open-source parts so you can easily add to them as needed. This makes Ardusat a great value for schools, districts, teachers and parents!
